- You understand that Schoolbox is the provider and manager of this platform (Platform) and owns the software that operates the Platform, and The Smith Family as The Connection (The Connection/The Smith Family) does not have control over the way in which the Platform is managed or operates.
- You will only use the Platform as a community portal and engagement platform for the sole purpose of communicating with other The Connection participants.
- You agree to use the Platform in compliance with the Schoolbox Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, available at https://schoolbox.com.au/legal/. If you do not agree to these terms of use, you may not access or use the Platform and must immediately disconnect from it. The Connection will provide some high-level moderation of the Platform but cannot be held responsible for any post which does not comply with these Schoolbox policies.
- You will use the Platform in compliance with your own school’s Privacy Policy, including but not limited to taking responsibility for having appropriate permissions for publishing the images of young people.
- You understand that all content shared by you or other participants via the Platform is being made available for The Connection participants to copy and modify, and that this information may be distributed (wholly or partially) from the Platform to another participant of The Connection or to a third party for purposes connected with The Connection.[You should not upload content to the Platform that you do not want shared in this way].
- You will attribute the original contributor in any content that is distributed by you on or beyond the Platform and you will not modify the content in a way that makes it misleading or deceptive when the work is attributed to the contributor/author.
- You agree not to remove, disable or otherwise circumvent any security or licence features designed to prevent unauthorised use of the Platform.
- You agree to keep all personal user data (e.g. email addresses or phone numbers) as strictly confidential and to seek permission of the owner of that information before sharing with a third party.
- You are responsible for ensuring the content you load into the Platform is free from computer viruses, spyware, malware or other harmful electronic computer programs and complies with all applicable legislation, regulations, by-laws, ordinances or codes of conduct within the legal jurisdiction applicable to your operations.
- You agree not to use the Platform to enter or upload content which is illegal, false, misleading or deceptive, abusive, sexually explicit, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or invasive of another’s privacy.
- You agree that Schoolbox or The Connection may, at any time, without prior notice to you, withdraw your use of the Platform in the event of any alleged or actual breaches of these terms and conditions.
